For those few of you who look at this, I am currently taking commisssions!

I'm at a bit of a flux point, no idea where I'm going to go in two months, so it'd be dandy if I could squirrel away a bit of cash before I've got to move. In the interest of furthering that goal, I'm opening up five commission slots and drawing up a price list.

For anything larger than a sketch, I will send you a progress shot for approval; once it's approved and you've sent the money to my PayPal, I'll complete the commission as quickly as possibly. So far my turnaround is very fast.

All commissions will be done over PayPal. I'm fine with drawing pin-ups and some romance, I'm not cool with fetishes. Adding another character to any of the above is $5. So my New Year's Eve was terribly quiet, but I watched an AWESOME movie by the name of "The City of Lost Children," a terribly surreal French movie with Ron Perlman.

Holy crap that man is sexy in this movie.

Part of it is undoubtedly the costumer, who did BEAUTIFUL things in this movie without being over-the-top in a movie that could easily have been made more cartoonish with exagerated costumes. As they did not, the surrealism is kind of grounded and made more solid, or perhaps it just more starkly outlines some of the dark deeds done in the film.

Anyhow, it's brilliant and you should watch it. We could use more 'SCIENCE!' shot in wonderful colors.

So hey, remember how I said something about having to draw Mr. B being all Rubenesque? Well, my brain flashed firstly to a painting that turned out to be "Olympia" by Edward Manet, and a few centuries after anything Ruben had done.

But my brain had already fixated on it, so I basically planted Mr. B into this picture. And went on a roll from there.
